To Ganesh .R, I believe that what this graph shows is the amount of money that the listed countries' governments spend per capita on health services and facilities for their citizens. |

I really don't believe that the US government spends the most money per person on health services. I would like to know how it's calculated. |

I believe alo is correct; I think that the number presented is aggregate of all sources, so both private and government spending is included. With respect to Ganesh.R, I would not necessarily assume that India spends less than $4/year (remember that the footnotes show this as 1998 as the base year). It seems that India is not included, likely because figures were not available. |
